This review was written using a version of Adguard Premium and tested on a Google Nexus 9 running Android Lollipop 5.0.1.AdGuard Home is a network-wide, open source software for blocking ads & tracking and for gaining control over all traffic in your home network. But the free edition is plenty for most users. Adguard Premium offers improved ad filtering, expanded protection against phishing sites, and a license to use it on your PC. You can manually set filter rules and whitelist to exclude relevant ads.
Beyond the initial installation, the application is very straightforward. If you can't stand seeing ad banners or pop-ups take up valuable screen real estate, then Adguard is a must-have. The extra step can be a bit daunting if you've never installed anything outside Google Play. Inconvenient install: Adguard is not available through Google Play, meaning you'll have to delve into your device's security settings to allow for third-party apps and download the app manually.

Advanced settings allow you to change which ads you want to see and offer the ability to whitelist websites.
